About The Program

What You Will Learn In The Classroom

This program will provide students with a thorough hands-on and theoretical education in the welding field. The program was developed in conjunction with the CWBi ACORN training program that has been designed to train employees who are job-ready for the current and future needs of the welding and joining industry.

What You Will Learn In The Labs

Our state-of-the-industry campuses provide our students with the opportunity to gain critical welding experience using modern equipment in welding processes that include: Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW or ‘MIG’), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW or ‘TIG’), Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW or ‘Stick’).

* NATS Brampton campus students will be bused to our welding lab in Burlington for practical lab days.
