Working at Heights Training in Ontario

Course Overview

This course is designed to provide an advanced, in-depth understanding of working at heights hazards, and hands-on application of the different fall protection systems and system components.

As of April 1st 2015, workers on construction projects using travel restraint, fall restricting and arrest systems, safety nets and work belts or safety belts must be trained. This course meets the requirements outlined in the Occupational Health and Safety Awareness and Training Regulation for Working at Heights Training on Construction Projects.

Fall Protection

Fall Protection Systems Covered

Hands-on application of the different fall protection systems and their components, including:

Travel restraint systems
Fall restricting systems
Fall arrest systems
Safety nets
Work belts / safety belts

Hands-on application of these systems and their components is part of the course.

Construction Project Workers

As of April 1st 2015, workers on construction projects using travel restraint, fall restricting and arrest systems, safety nets and work belts or safety belts must be trained.
